Our Mission
Since 2009, our team has been walking the streets of the Dominican Republic sharing the Word of God & building relationships with trafficked, exploited and vulnerable women. Our ministry provides Christ-centered safe housing (for adult women/children & preventative housing for vulnerable teen girls) where we provide counseling, daycare for children, furthering education, job skills training & workforce experience all in a healthy, safe environment.
Reach & refuge
We build healthy relationships by meeting women on streets & brothels in their community. Many of our participants come to us thru government agencies & referrals from other non-profits, particularly our preventative home for 17/18 year olds aging out of orphanages. Sharing healthy, Christlike love for participants is always our first step. Providing a safe refuge and saving lives from abuse & harm is our joy!
restoration
First stage emotional healing can take months - even years. But our team is there to provide God-given tools to navigate the healing process physically, emotionally, & spiritually. We are thankful for trauma-informed caretakers, school tutors, local church volunteers, psychologists, Christian counselors, & many others who are part of this process.
Reconciliation
Our participants have opportunities to further education & job training so they can prepare for life after Lily House. They’ll be reconciled to a community again but with vocational tools & preparation to live healthy, productive lives. We do this by teaching skills & providing temporary employment. Lilies can leave with training, resumes & recommendations!
